REPORTS TO:  Maintenance Supervisor

 

QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or GED or licenses or credentials issued by a government entity that require specialized skill or training  

    may also substitute for this requirement.

Two years building and mechanical maintenance or operations experience.

Valid Kentucky driver's license

 

JOB GOALS:

 

Will strive to provide a clean, safe, and comfortable environment to promote quality learning and working conditions for students, teachers, and staff.

 

Perform semi-skilled to skilled maintenance, repair and construction of District buildings and equipment; perform semi-skilled to skilled work in one or more of the building maintenance trades; assist journey-level trades personnel as needed; work independently in one of the less complex building trades.

           

Will be an ambassador for Spencer County Public Schools and commit to offering excellent customer service to students, parents, and staff.

Preference given to those seeking HVAC, electrical, plumbing, industrial maintenance, or building maintenance certifications or desire to seek certification.
